The podcast’s most recent episode takes a look at the Left’s climate agenda, which Legates says is far from defeated even if the Trump administration may be stepping back from climate bodies and making similar moves to deemphasize the agenda.
Legates said Matthew 22 is a major theme of the Cornwall Alliance.
"What we're trying to do is put God first and then take the resources that God has given us and use them in a way in which we can enhance peoples' lives. Where the podcast comes in, it talks about various issues related to stewardship and what's going on in terms of climate and economics. The whole Cornwall Alliance idea is to be able to foster that and to be good stewards of our environment."
He addressed climate change and said that humans can affect climate through land use like urban downtown areas, which create warmer temperatures in the city environment than one might see on a country farm. He said a warmer world is generally less variable and that civilization has done better under those conditions.
